Marvin D. Fuhrman
Marvin Fuhrman, born in the Bronx, is an accomplished trial attorney with over thirty years’ experience, having appeared before Judges and Juries throughout New York State in complex personal injury and medical malpractice litigation. After graduating Brooklyn Law School in 1984 he joined a large litigation firm and became one of the youngest partners in the firm’s history.
In 1991 he joined with his childhood friend Dr. Eliot Wolf to form WOLF & FUHRMAN, LLP, and the two have been practicing law together ever since. After obtaining multi-million dollar recoveries on behalf of severely disabled children he represented, Marvin was appointed by various Courts to continue to represent these children as their Guardian to insure their special needs are met and their assets properly managed and preserved.
As guardian, Marvin has purchased specially equipped homes for, “his children”, and continues to be involved in making sure they have what they need to prosper, and live their lives in comfort. Marvin has also had the privilege to serve as a coach to 8th grade students here in the Bronx, in the annual Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial Competition in which students learn to be lawyers by competing against other schools in an actual trial before Judges held at the Bronx County Courthouse every May.
Marvin also returns to Brooklyn Law School on a regular basis to Judge and critique law students in the law school’s moot court competition as a member of the Brooklyn Law School Moot Court Honor Society. Marvin has been interviewed about his cases by the NY Post, Insider Exclusive and Channel 11, among others.
Marvin is admitted to practice Law before both New York and New Jersey State Courts, the United States District Courts for the Southern & Eastern Districts, is a member of the American Association of Justice, the American Bar Association, and the Bronx County Bar Association. Marvin is also an active member of the National Trial Lawyers Top 100 - Civil Plantiffs. He is currently collaborating with a physician on a book involving medico-legal issues.
